Class of 2029 · Palo Alto, CA
“My classes relate to my interest in environmental entrepreneurship. They inspire me to think of more cool concepts to write about.”

Career goal: “I want to build on the success of my business to support the environment and establish young writers and artists.”

Jacob Brechbill
Class of 2028 · Newark, Ohio
“Everyone has such a unique experience here, but we’re all united. You see students in arts hanging out with athletes, Greek students with members of other fraternities and sororities. We get beyond the labels — we’re all Denison students.”
Major: Finance major, Math minor
Career goal: “On a broad scale, I’m drawn to project management and the financial and marketing sectors. I like to work with different disciplines and apply them together.”

Josephine Taube
Class of 2028 · Cleveland Heights, Ohio
“My dad thought big schools meant big resources. But I found that when it comes to doing something I’m passionate about, Denison always finds a way to make it happen.”
Major: Politics & Public Affairs, Spanish, Legal Studies minor
Career goal: “I want to be a lawyer and support immigration or human rights. My mom is an immigrant from India who teaches in Cleveland schools — it’s part of my story.”

Yohannes Mulualem
Class of 2028 · Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
“In my data governance internship, the research I’m doing directly impacts the campus. I’m learning more about how to serve clients with my data skills and making a difference at the same time.”
Major: Data Analytics, Economics minor
Career goal: “I’m not sure what my career journey will be right now, and that’s exciting to me. My data analytics skills and my interest in economics could lead to many opportunities.”

Marin Tanner
Class of 2028 · Richmond, Indiana
“I volunteer for Hospice once a week and listen to patients tell their stories. It connects me to “my why” of wanting to be a doctor. And I can study abroad even as a pre-med major.”

Career goal: “I’ve always wanted to be in medicine. Since coming to Denison, I’ve become even more passionate about it.”

Abby Crady

“I didn’t expect to join the Women’s Rugby team — I hadn’t even watched a game before coming to Denison — but I love it. We have weekly practices with a coach, play on other campuses, and have team dinners in the dining hall. We work hard and we play hard.”

“I wanted to swim competitively, but didn’t want swimming to be my whole college experience. At Denison, I have the opportunity to join a sorority, be in a club, study abroad, and swim at a national level.”

Career goal: “I’m interested in a career in broadcasting or investigative journalism. I want to tell the behind-the-scenes stories.”

Nathan Wilson
Class of 2028 · Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio
“Recently I got to compete against 30 other schools in the Economics Games. A sponsor presented their data and a problem to solve — we only had 24 hours to analyze and present a product, and came in second place. It was a great opportunity to compete and build my team work and presentation skills.”
Major: History, Economics, Music Performance minor
Career goal: “I want to get my law degree and work in corporate law.”

Josie Hansen
Class of 2026 · Evanston, Illinois
“I never thought I’d be in Greek life, but my freshman year I met a lot of women who loved it. I went through recruitment and joined Theta, where I held a lot of leadership roles. Now I’ll work for their national organization during my gap year before I get my nurse practitioner degree.”
Career goal: “I’ve decided to become a nurse practitioner. It combines my love of solving problems scientifically with my desire to work with and help people.”
