Four years ago, the Class of 2023 moved onto campus. Now, they are getting ready to move on their next stage of life. Our time together has been all too short.

The Class of 2023 grew exponentially in knowledge, skills, and resilience. And so much more. They started new initiatives in the arts and civic engagement, gave us hundreds of performances, and held internships across the country and the world.

They showed us how to weather a global pandemic, landed a job that combines a love of music and business know-how, and narrated an amazing campus tour.

They taught us how to spike a volleyball and how to win a sword fight. They won All-American honors, an NCAC championship, a national championship, and hundreds of athletics contests.

They created a community resource in Boston, connected family history to WWII, and published multiple articles in the Columbus Dispatch and elsewhere.

This is all just a drop in the bucket compared to their Olympic-sized pool of experiences and accomplishments. We’re so proud.

Senior Send Off

Come along with the Class of 2023 and see all the fun of their final week on campus.

Commencement Day

Commencement day kicks off with a final goodbye to favorite professors at the Faculty Coffee. The band plays the Fanfare for the Class of 2023, faculty in their finery parade in, and seniors, accessorized with honorary cords and mortar caps, process to their seats.

The moment when they cross the stage and receive their diploma from President Weinberg comes all too soon. Afterward, proud families flock to their students for hugs and selfies.

Relive the laughter and the tears.

Keynote Speakers

Denison welcomes Lord Mark Malloch-Brown, president of Open Society Foundations and former deputy secretary general of the U.N., as our keynote speaker. Graduating senior Yaz Simpson presents the student keynote to her class. We share four additional senior reflections.
