How long is the ceremony?
The ceremony begins at 12:30 p.m. and typically lasts about three hours.
Do I need tickets for the ceremony? How many guests may I invite?
Seating at Commencement is available on a first-come, first-served basis. No tickets are required. There is no limit on the number of guests you may bring.
Which Baccalaureate celebration should we attend?
On Friday, graduates and guests may choose to attend the Baccalaureate celebration at either 4 or 7 p.m. The programs are identical. Attendance at Baccalaureate is not mandatory for graduates. We suggest that families arrive 30 minutes before the beginning of the celebration, as Swasey Chapel tends to fill for both events and seating for groups can become limited.
When should graduates be moved out of their residence halls?
Graduating seniors must be moved out of their residence halls by 7 p.m. the evening of Commencement. Please pack early and plan ahead.
Will there be live online streaming video of the Commencement ceremony?
