Sustainability is a core value at Denison — our actions speak even louder than our words. Over the last few years we’ve formed partnerships, joined organizations, and have received a lot of recognition for our strong commitment to sustainability.
Denison is a member of the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE)
Denison earned a Gold rating in 2016 from AASHE’s Sustainability, Tracking, Assessment, & Rating System (STARS).
Denison is a Charter Participant in AASHE’s Sustainability, Tracking, Assessment, & Rating System (STARS).
Denison signed the Presidents’ Climate Commitment in 2010 and renewed that commitment in 2015. The college plans to be carbon neutral by 2030.
Denison became a Charter Participant in the Sustainable Endowments Institute’s Billion Dollar Green Challenge

Denison has earned recognition for its Green Hill Fund, a green revolving loan fund.
