Students can apply for many exciting summer opportunities as early as their first year at Denison. Fellowships are available that support summer courses, workshops, service projects, and research opportunities both in the US and overseas. In recent years, Denison students have won many summer fellowships, including:

The Gilman Scholarship provides funding for summer study abroad programs for Pell-grant eligible students. The Lisska Center helps students apply for these summer opportunities as part of an integrated plan of academic, extracurricular, and summer activities spanning their four college years. Students should also consider applying for Denison’s fully-funded Summer Scholar awards and summer internships. Many application deadlines fall as early as October, so we encourage students to start exploring opportunities as soon as possible.
