Health care for Denison employees and community

Denison’s partnership with Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center brings enhanced health and wellness services to campus and the community. Services include Express Care, as well as musculoskeletal and physical therapy services.

Ohio State Express Care at the Hoaglin Wellness Center provides quick access to care for patients with common conditions and illnesses and is open to the community, including Denison staff, faculty, and their dependents.

Conditions treated and services offered:

  • Cold, flu, and COVID-19 symptoms, including cough, sore throat, fever, and headache
  • Eye, ear, throat, sinus, and respiratory infections
  • Seasonal allergies
  • Minor burns, bruises, and cuts
  • Insect bites and rashes
  • Painful urination and suspected urinary tract infections
  • Work, school, sports, and camp physicals
  • Please visit an urgent care for suspected broken bones needing urgent X-rays.
  • Services for express care are billed at a primary care rate.

Musculoskeletal services at the Hoaglin Wellness Center

Denison employees and the community can access physicians specializing in the comprehensive care of musculoskeletal conditions involving bones, muscles, and joints, including orthopedic and sports medicine injuries. Recover from an injury, stay active for a lifetime, or improve your physical performance. Fees for these services will be charged to insurance providers.

Physical Therapy services at the Mitchell Center

Denison employees and the community can access specialized physical therapy and rehabilitation services, including orthopedic and sports medicine injuries. Work with our team to recover from injuries and return to your active life. Fees for these services will be charged to insurance providers.
