Denison’s inaugural Health Careers Exploration Fair turned Knobel Hall into a hub of discovery where more than 130 students (and six students from Granville High School) connected directly with representatives from over a dozen healthcare professions.
Organized by the Healthcare, Clinical Research, & Wellness Career Community in the Knowlton Center for Career Exploration, the Oct. 30, 2025, fair helped students identify pathways that might align with their interests, values, and goals, including medicine, nursing, genetic counseling, audiology, public health, and behavioral health.
With a goal of exploration rather than recruitment, representatives shared resources and experiences to help students better understand the various roles, pathways, and opportunities available in the health fields. Given the timing of the event, students were encouraged to “trick-or-treat for information and candy, exploring careers that they might never have considered.
