Society of Physics Students elect officers

SPS officers bring the fun to the physics and astronomy department.

The Society of Physics Students — the organization that holds movie nights, picnics, holiday parties, lectures, community outreach, and field trips — has chosen its officers for the 2026-27 academic year.

The officers are:

Charlotte Magnell ’27, co-president
Dimi Martinez-Davila ’28, co-president
Antonio Cambraia ’28, secretary
Kushal Chapagai ’29, treasurer

The officers have already hosted gatherings to include first-year students and a department-wide movie marathon. They are planning an observatory open house. Their goal is to create an inclusive atmosphere with opportunities for all physics students to socialize.
