With great pride, the Class of 2026 presents this year’s Visual Arts Senior exhibition, It Was Never Just Then. Across a range of media, including painting, digital design, installation, sculpture, and fibers, the exhibition explores how the past is never fixed or distant, but continually reshaped through memory, identity, culture, and material practice. Rather than viewing time as static, these works reveal the persistent influence of the past on who we are in the present.
