Arrival information for students coming from abroad
International students and for U.S. students who have been living abroad should arrive on August 18 & 19, 2020.
We invite you to begin your college experience by participating in an arrival program for students coming from abroad, which will take place August 20-22. This program is especially valuable for students who will transition to a new culture and/or country as they begin their college career at Denison, whether that student is a foreign national or a U.S. citizen who has lived outside of the U.S.
The program offers the opportunity to arrive on campus several days before the First-Year Office’s August Orientation program in order to acclimate to the Denison campus and meet and learn from upper class students, faculty and staff members. Our past experience suggests that our early orientation program provides a valuable support network for the students throughout the first year.
- Students with visas are required to attend the arrival program.
- Dual citizens, permanent residents, and U.S. citizens who live abroad are encouraged to attend.
- Participants should plan to arrive on campus on Tuesday, August 18 or Wednesday, August 19.
Transportation from Columbus
