A faculty panel will be discussing the critical scholarly perspectives of the recent film Wakanda Forever. The event will be held on Monday, February 13 at 4:30 pm in the Burton Morgan Lecture Hall.

The panel will include: Lauren Araiza (History), Melissa Huerta (Latin and Caribbean Studies), and Diana Mafe (English).

The discussion will be moderated by Christopher Travers.

The opportunity to screen the film prior to the panel discussion will be held on February 10 & 11 at 8:00 pm, in the Slayter Auditorium and is hosted by the Denison Film Society.

The event is co-sponsored by the Departments of History, Black Studies, and Latin American & Caribbean Studies.
