Foundation & Corporate Giving
What is foundation & corporate giving?

Relationships are at the core of our work. We are connectors, matching private foundations and corporations with the faculty and staff leading vital research that supports the college’s mission.
Further, the Office of Foundation & Corporate Relations works with faculty seeking funding to fine-tune their proposals and draft their applications. By working actively with faculty, we foster fruitful collaboration with foundation and corporate funders.
Denison’s Office of Foundation and Corporate Relations leverages institutional support from the college’s leadership to maximize benefits to Denison and our foundation and corporate partners. Below is an overview of the core services provided by our office.
- Seek partnerships with foundations and corporations whose missions align with Denison’s.
- Identify and match the strategic needs of foundations and corporations with Denison’s strengths.
- Foster common understanding and create real opportunities for shared, positive outcomes.
- Engage stakeholders to develop shared goals and design projects with mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Build support and consensus within the university.
- Ensure projects goals are met and reported.
- Work with faculty to encourage effective communication with outside partners.
