Marcus Morris is an interdisciplinary artist and imagemaker whose work centers Blackness, queerness and performance. He is a visiting assistant professor in Visual Arts at Denison University. 

Morris is an Master of Fine Arts Fellow in Photography from The Ohio State University and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Columbus College of Art & Design, with additional study at the Michaelis School of Fine Art at the University of Cape Town. He founded Cineseries, an experimental film program at the Wexner Center for the Arts, and co-curated the 2024 FotoFocus Biennale at Beeler Gallery (CCAD). He was the Fall 2024 Artist Fellow at the Annex at The Gund (Kenyon College) and the winner of Best Series in the 2025 Appalachian Mountain Photography Competition. His work has appeared in The Appalachian Journal, Gayletter, and Callaloo.
