There’s a familiar phenomenon in sports where it seems that an individual or a team has momentum. Is there really such a thing, or is it just superstition? And, if there really is such a thing, what is it? How is it connected to performance and outcomes? And to the feelings, beliefs, and desires of the individuals and teams with momentum?
