The Laura C. Harris Series presents an IMPACT Safety workshop, “Defending Ourselves as Women of Color.”

IMPACT Safety instructors Ashlee Abraham and Sharonda Crome will lead this workshop.

Topics covered include:
1) the complexities of self-defense
2) de-escalation skills, when our boundary setting is perceived as hostile
3) skills to address micro-aggressions and heckling
4) strategies for addressing racially motivated harassment

The workshop is open to women identified as WOC. The workshop is interactive, but not strenuous. If you have any questions about the workshop, please email Ashlee or Sharonda at info@impactsafety.org.
