Trees are life-giving members of the Denison campus. They bring color in the fall, offer structure to the winter, herald the spring and share leafy shade in the summer— and all year round they bring beauty, peace and habitat for wildlife.
Arbor Day recognizes the importance of trees throughout the world. Denison’s dedication to trees is self-evident on the campus, and the Arbor Day Foundation has designated Denison as a ‘Tree Campus USA.’ The Arbor Day Foundation awards this national recognition to campuses that promote healthy trees through a demonstrated commitment to forestry and environmental stewardship.
