International Studies major Peter Markee is the first Denison student to go to Mexico on a Fulbright.

The Fulbright Program is the flagship international educational exchange program of the United States. Peter will represent the country as a cultural ambassador while he is overseas, helping to enhance mutual understanding between Americans and the people in Mexico. Peter will join over 100,000 Fulbright U.S. Student Program alumni who have undertaken grants since the program began in 1948. Peter is an international studies and Spanish double major. He studied abroad in Spain at the University of Granada and is a volunteer at the Granville Township Fire Department. Peter has been awarded the Tyree/Parajon Scholarship and the Charles Steele Scholarship. Congratulations Peter!
Andrew Malin ’15 (Plymouth, Minn.)
Awarded a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship to Bulgaria, Andrew is a history and international studies double major. Andrew has been a senior interviewer for the Office of Admission, a class senator, and a member of the University Programming Council and Phi Alpha Theta, the National History Honorary Society. He is a recipient Founders Scholarship, and the Presidential Service Award for 175-250 hours of community service.
