The new home of Denison softball
What does Denison University’s softball field look like? One of the premier facilities for collegiate softball in NCAA Division III.
Built in 1997, the field has undergone several renovations and improvements. In 2007, lights were added to the facility, making Denison one of just a handful of Division III colleges capable of playing night games. (One of the most charming features of the facility is the unofficial natural seating area above the left field fence. It is common to see a number of lawn chairs and students congregating there on a sunny spring afternoon, cheering on the Big Red.)
The facility has been the host site of eight North Coast Athletic Conference Championship Tournaments and the 2001 NCAA Division III regional championship.
