Biography

Tristen Davis serves as the new Program Coordinator for the Center of Belonging and Inclusion at Denison University. Her work focuses on fostering a holistic sense of belonging through community engagement and voter education. With nearly five years of experience in student affairs across Central Ohio, she brings a student-centered approach to cultivating inclusive campus environments and meaningful community partnerships.

Tristen’s academic background is rooted in sociology, criminology, and law and society research. She is particularly interested in community engagement as reentry work and how involvement in community spaces shapes our understanding of social systems and belonging. As a doctoral candidate at Ohio University, her research explores the intersections of civic participation and community, further informing her work in higher education.

She holds a B.A. in Sociology–Criminology and an M.A. in Law, Justice and Culture from Ohio University and is committed to advancing inclusive excellence and student empowerment at Denison University.
