Announcing Denison’s 2026 Young Alumni Impact Award recipients

After earning a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Denison, Bracken built his career in healthcare investment banking, focusing on early-stage biotechnology and pharmaceuticals. He now advises clients across initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, equity financing, and strategic planning as a director of biopharmaceutical investment banking at UBS Securities. As a student, Bracken was a member of the men’s varsity soccer team, Phi Delta Theta, and the investment club. He continues his commitment to Denison today by mentoring and advising students who are interested in financial career paths.

Gonzalez is an Emmy Award-winning journalist, producer, social media influencer, and marketing and communications consultant. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in communication from Denison and her master’s degree from Northeastern University’s College of Arts, Media and Design. Gonzalez spent nearly a decade in television news as a reporter, producer, and anchor. Today, she has expanded her storytelling beyond the newsroom as the founder of Essocial Co., a marketing and communications agency serving businesses, brands, and athletes. Gonzalez was a proud member of the women’s Big Red basketball team.

Loy is a cofounder and CEO of Romix Biosciences, a Boston-based biotechnology company developing cutting-edge, non-invasive liquid biopsy technologies that provide deeper insights into health and disease biology. Loy graduated from Denison with a double major in biology and data analytics and a minor in mathematics and was a senior fellow in both biology and data analytics. He stayed involved as the president of the Denison Anglers Club and as a member of Delta Chi. He later earned a doctorate in genetics, genomics, and development from Cornell University. His research helped establish the foundations of cell-free RNA biology and produced more than a dozen peer-reviewed publications spanning concerns from cancer immunotherapy and infectious disease to pediatrics and transplantation.

Monroe is a director of public affairs at FTP, a bipartisan, fully integrated public affairs and government relations consultancy, where she helps clients navigate complex issues such as energy policy and trade. She graduated from Denison with a Bachelor of Arts in English literature and a minor in communication. As a student, Monroe served as a news editor for The Denisonian and secretary of her sorority, Tri Delta. After graduating, she moved to Washington, D.C., to work on Capitol Hill, where she served as a press assistant and legislative correspondent. At FTP, she advises clients on strategic communications and has secured media coverage for clients in The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, and other national and local outlets. She continues to interact with her Denison community, both in her work and through the many close friendships she made during her time on The Hill.

Nottage is the basketball brand marketing lead for Jordan North America at Nike and operates at the intersection of sport, fashion, and community to build culturally relevant campaigns and experiences, inclusive of leading product launches for Jordan Basketball athletes. Nottage began her career at the NCAA within the Women’s Basketball Championships and Final Four. A former Denison varsity basketball captain, Nottage’s passion for championing the next generation of athletes grew at the university, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. She also holds a Master of Sport Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Pearce serves as a federal policy manager at Google, where she manages executive branch relationships centering around AI, energy, and security. Before joining Google, she worked on international trade policy at Steptoe LLP, lobbied on behalf of the technology association TechNet, and served as a legislative aide for members of the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives. Pearce graduated from Denison with a Bachelor of Arts in history and political science, and holds a master’s degree from The Graduate School of Political Management at The George Washington University. She is currently pursuing her Juris Doctor at the American University Washington College of Law. Dedicated to empowering future leaders, Pearce mentors Denisonians and other young women entering public service, including through the nonpartisan nonprofit organization Running Start. She remains engaged with her Denison community through the Washington, D.C., regional network and her class reunion committee.

Richards works in the national defense sector as a program security officer at Hermeus, an aerospace and defense technology company developing high-speed aircraft. After graduating from Denison with a Bachelor of Arts in political science and government, and minors in economics and philosophy, Richards built his career in background investigations and industrial security, earning top-secret government clearance. Throughout his professional and personal achievements, he has continued to focus on public service and strengthening communities, and he currently serves as vice president of the Del Rey Neighborhood Council and as a representative of the Westside Regional Alliance of Councils. As a student, Richards was a member of the track and field team and the Student Athlete Advisory Council.

Wright is a strategic communications advisor at Edelman, a global public relations firm, where she partners with senior leaders on everything from major company transformations to employee engagement and reputation strategy. During her seven years at Edelman, she has advised dozens of companies across diverse industries and nearly every facet of communications. Wright graduated from Denison with a Bachelor of Arts in global commerce and communication. A varsity volleyball player and three-time captain, she also served on the Student-Athlete Advisory Council and continues her involvement in youth sports as a board member of the Good Sports Emerging Leaders Council. Wright is currently pursuing her Master of Business Administration at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where she is a Kilts Marketing Fellow. She remains deeply involved with the Denison community as vice chair of the Chicago Regional Network and supports current Denison students through career mentorship, connections, and guest speaking.
