His life and work was documented in the film Super Feature: The Art of Jim Winters by Flowers Frankenstein and Michael Wertz. His work in the collections of Jason Goldberg, CEO of Fab.com, Ana Matronic of the pop group Scissor Sisters, singers Justin Bond and Rufus Wainwright amongst others.
