Share, Lift, Lead: How Motherhood Can Drive Entrepreneurial Passion

Please join us for Share, Lift, Lead: How Motherhood Can Drive Entrepreneurial Passion on November 12.

Join Lanning Ardente ‘14, the founder of Sorette, for an inspiring session as she shares her journey from Denison to founding a consumer products brand, and how motherhood fundamentally transformed her relationship with ambition, confidence, purpose, and fear.

For years, the ambition to lead and build something of her own was always present, but wanting to take the leap and having the confidence to fully bet on herself were two very different things. In this candid conversation, she will trace her career path from Denison through fashion, finance, and consumer products to explore how personal life transitions can clarify professional purpose. Attendees will walk away with a fresh perspective on how confidence is built through action, how strong networks and community can unlock unexpected doors, and what it truly takes to lead when you don’t have all the answers.

About the speaker:

Lanning Ardente ‘14 is the founder and CEO of Sorette, a credentialing platform redefining how moms and brands connect with a trusted, science-backed Seal of Approval. With over a decade of CPG industry experience, particularly in food and beverage, Lanning has created a meticulously curated platform offering high-quality, supportive products for all stages of motherhood. As a mother of three, she is dedicated to simplifying the process of selecting safer products for expectant and new mothers.
