Position Description

Students with Federal Work Study are eligible to apply for available internships, where they are placed for up to six to eight hours per week with a local community non-profit organization to assist with ongoing or new projects as needed by the organization. Students are engaged in meaningful work that directly aligns with the mission of the organization. Students will be expected to work under the direct supervision of an appointed individual at each agency, as well as meet with a staff member of the Alford Community Leadership & Involvement Center once a month to discuss and reflect on their experience. Our current partnering agencies are listed below with their mission statements. As the needs of our community change, new community partners may be introduced to the program.
