Welcome to the Spiritual Life Center

The Spiritual Life Center supports multiple student-led groups. Denison has active programs for Protestant, Catholic, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, and Buddhist students. Students who are more broadly spiritual without a specific tradition gather in other affinity groups such as Earth Spirituality or Twice Blessed (LGBTQ).

The SLC hosts weekly Jumma Prayer, Shabbat, Gospel and Praise Worship, Quaker Meeting, and Buddhist Prayers. Local churches in the village welcome students to Sunday services, and the Spiritual Life Center works with students to arrange transportation to worship centers outside of Granville.

The Spiritual Life Center also holds meditation and mindfulness events, offers pastoral care, and celebrates a wide variety of holidays and observances. The staff is always willing to nurture a new group, offer spiritual direction, or engage in dialogue.
