Denison’s Director of Libraries, BethAnn Zambella, has been invited to a professional development program for the 20 top academic librarians in the nation. The program is the longest-running leadership development program in the library profession.
“Academic libraries are being buffeted by the same headwinds of change that higher ed in general is experiencing,” says Zambella. I plan to explore issues as varied as affordability, inclusion and digital agility during the fellowship.”
The biennial senior fellows program is held at the UCLA Library, from July 11 to 29. It combines management perspectives and tools for strategic thinking with practical and theoretical approaches to the issues confronting academic libraries, preparing fellows to pursue advanced leadership roles in the field.
