Through keynotes, panels, workshops, and performances, attendees explored topics like the intersection of creativity and commerce, storytelling across media, leadership in the arts, and the role of art in shaping society.
The event wasn’t just about learning, it was about experiencing the arts firsthand. From the soulful harmonies of the Hilltoppers and Bluegrass Ensemble to the laughter of Burpee’s improv workshop, the weekend was alive with creativity. Highlights included a fireside chat with EGOT winner Rita Moreno, a captivating performance of Tartuffe by the Department of Theatre, and an open mic night at the Bandersnatch that showcased the raw talent of our community.
Arts ReMix exemplified the power of the Denison network, fostering connections between alumni and students while celebrating the transformative role of the arts in our lives.
“Being invited to and attending Arts Remix was an absolute highlight for me. Graduating in 1984, one of two female art historians, it was an honor to share with other students and alums the very natures of my own career in the arts. This time was exceptional, inspiring, and immensely gratifying. Denison has focused on the arts over the years with new structures that house creativity and imagination. Others who were part of the event evidenced extraordinary professions in the arts fostered through Denison. I remain Denison proud.”
