Ben Jacoby ’09
Ben Jacoby ’09, no stranger to the Broadway stage, has joined the cast of the musical, Beaches.
Based on the Iris Dart novel and the 1988 film starring Bette Midler and Barbara Hershey, Beaches is set to open on Broadway April 22 and run through Sept. 6. The production then is scheduled to hit the road on a national tour.
Jacoby graduated from Denison with majors in Theatre and English and earned his MFA in acting from UC Irvine. He launched his professional career in regional theater, then toured the country for a year as Raoul in The Phantom of the Opera before joining the Broadway cast of Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, in which he played Barry Mann for nearly four years.
