Forty students and faculty from the Department of French recently took a field trip to Columbus to partake in a storied bit of French culture: a concert by Quebecois singer Bruno Pelletier.
This was quite a coup as the concert marked only the second Pelletier, a 16-time winner of the Felix Award (Quebec’s version of the Grammy), has performed in the United States, the first being a performance at the House of Blues in Los Angeles.
Denison’s Isabelle Choquet, an assistant professor of Modern Languages organized the vocalist’s visit to Columbus, in conjunction with a faculty member from Ohio State University.
