Cempre, who was a four-year member of the Big Red's men's tennis team, capped off his career as a four-time All-NCAC performer, which included a spot on the first team in 2013. An NCAC Player of the Week selection in both 2013 and 2014, Cempre leaves a legacy of being one of the most accomplished doubles players in school history after tying the single-season record of 21 doubles wins in 2014 with teammate Andrew Marczak and finishing his career tied for eighth on the program's all-time list with 61 doubles victories. In 2011-12, Cempre was also awarded the Midwest Sportsmanship Award by the United States Tennis Association (USTA).
