Jason James Shuba ’02

Jason assists Denison’s generous supporters with bringing their giving to life in a tax-wise manner that meets their financial and philanthropic goals. He earned his B.A. from Denison in philosophy, politics, and economics and his J.D. from the Case Western Reserve University School of Law. He returned to Denison from the University of Illinois Foundation, where he helped to facilitate more than $120 million in complex, deferred, non-cash, and outright gifts. Previously, Jason had reinvigorated the American National Red Cross’ dormant Greater Chicago gift planning program. He came to the gift planning field after managing the advancement vertical for Academic Impressions, a Denver-based higher education professional development company. Based in Chicago, Jason keeps an active Illinois law license and runs six days a week.
