Biography

Jana serves as the Registrar at Denison University, bringing more than 15 years of experience in higher education administration. Throughout her career, she has held positions in academic and student affairs as well as enrollment management, dedicating a significant portion of her professional journey to registrar roles. In her current position, Jana plays a vital role as a leader in academic administration. She is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of academic policies, maintaining the integrity of student records, and ensuring the efficient management of key processes such as enrollment, course scheduling, and graduation certification. Her leadership contributes to operational efficiency, upholds academic integrity, and fosters service excellence across the university community.

Before joining Denison University, Jana held leadership positions at several institutions, including Yale University and USI Switzerland. Her strong academic background includes a Master in Higher Education Administration from Harvard University, a Master of Science in Communication and Economics from USI (Switzerland), and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Franklin University, Switzerland.

Jana is an active member of the American Association for Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO). Through her engagement with AACRAO, Jana remains informed about best practices and new developments in higher education administration. This involvement enhances her ability to provide expert and professional service to the Denison community.

Outside of her professional responsibilities, Jana volunteers her time at the Licking County Humane Society.
