Biography

Alison holds an MFA in Directing for the Musical Theatre Stage, a BFA in Musical Theatre, and a Certificate in Fundraising and Advancement for Non-Profits from Penn State University. She works as a freelance director and choreographer on titles like Spamalot, Assassins, Cinderella, Pippin, The Sound of Music, and Thoroughly Modern Millie. As a performer, Alison has toured nationally and internationally with American Idiot and Nice Work if You Can Get It, and took to the high seas with For the Record: The Brat Pack. Regional credits include Beehive at The REV, A Christmas Story at Gateway Playhouse, and Ever After at Papermill Playhouse. She is a member of Actor’s Equity and the Stage Director and Choreographers Society, and is active with Music Theatre Educators Alliance and the Music Theatre Dance Association.
