Sustainability
This annual report addresses the state of sustainability at Denison, as well as the progress made during recent academic and fiscal years.

The Denison Sustainability Fact Book and Annual Report is written with the intent of facilitating the dissemination of information and data compiled by both the Campus Sustainability Committee (CSC) and the Sustainability Coordinator. The report addresses the current state of sustainability at Denison, as well as the progress made during the 2015 – 2016 academic and fiscal years.

Much of the data contained in this report correlates with both the Campus Sustainability Plan and the STARS tracking tool that Denison and many other colleges use to assess campus sustainability. In most cases, a baseline year of 2005 is used to as the starting point for assessment and data is tracked annually.

While sustainability encompasses more than what is included in this report, the data herein, represents key metrics used by the college to assess its progress towards achieving the goals laid out in the Campus Sustainability Plan.
