Denison University’s Psychology and Journalism Departments welcome Carl Hart to campus as part of the J.R. Kantor Memorial Lecture series, presenting “Using Drugs to Promote a Healthier and Happier Society.”

In this talk, Hart will argue that our goal should not be to rid society of recreational drugs, but to protect the liberty and ensure the safety of those who partake of them. This requires us to recognize the inherent cruelty of some current policies and practices and to be courageous to alter our course of action to align with our goal.
