Denison’s Studio Art program welcomes Dean of Fine Arts and Associate Professor of Painting, Drawing and Color Theory, at the Columbus College of Art and Design Julie Taggart. Taggart was the first speaker in a series titled, “Connection to Place in Contemporary Painting,” on February 13, 2006. Taggart’s presentation focused on urban realist landscape painting. Taggart showed paintings of various sizes taken from her travels through Ohio and Kentucky. Her work is represented by Gallery V in Columbus.
