Denison University welcomes Professor of Sociology at Simmons University Becky Thompson and artist and poet Sara Abou Rashed (DU ’21) presenting a Beck Lecture and poetry reading. They will read from “Making Mirrors: Righting/Writing by and for Refugees,” a volume co-edited by Thompson in which writing by Rashed appears.
