Denison University welcomes Vail visiting artist Chelsea Flowers ’13 presenting an artist talk followed by a closing reception for her show. Flowers is exhibiting an art installation “Musings From the Corner” in the Bryant Fourth floor gallery.

Flowers is an artist who holds a Master of Fine Arts from Cranbrook Academy of Art and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Denison University. Her practice explores subversion to popular culture and how “otherness” is created, and social and cultural critique of her environment. She explores these ideas through comedic troupes, physical play, nostalgic memorabilia, and participatory performance.
