What you'll study as a Global Health major

The global health major leverages knowledge from across the liberal arts to understand what affects population, community, and individual health patterns and issues. You’ll gain qualitative and quantitative skills as you explore global health through social and natural sciences, humanities, and the arts.

Build your core

Explore health research methods, learn basic concepts in epidemiology, and analyze the systems and policies influencing global health.

Explore through electives

Investigate topics such as global health and nutrition, social determinants of health, planetary health, and women’s health.

Apply your knowledge

Monitor and evaluate global health programs, policies, and outcomes. Integrate accumulated knowledge in a senior capstone project.
