Would you lace up some bowling shoes and hit the lanes between classes? Denisonians of the ‘60s certainly did! 

When Slayter Union was constructed in 1962, a bowling alley was placed on the third floor. This became a social hot spot for students and faculty alike. Denison even had a bowling team that competed across the Midwest. 🎳

While the lanes were removed during Slayter’s renovation in the ‘90s, some memorabilia is safely stored in our university archives.
