Torrance I. Powell

As an undergraduate I fell in love with my small liberal arts university for the resources and opportunities it provided. I believe it laid the foundation for the student-centered approach I bring to my professional life. Having once been uncertain about my degree path, I can appreciate the challenges students sometimes face during their college experience. I approach my work in the Academic Resource Center with the understanding that each student is an individual with unique skills, needs, and perspectives. Whether students are seeking assistance maintaining a high level of academic performance or need help discovering strategies for success, I will listen to and support them during their transitions into and through Denison.
