Biography

Kierra “Kiki” Williams is a performer, choreographer, and filmmaker from Atlanta, Georgia. She received her MFA in Dance at The Ohio State University and her BFA in Contemporary Dance with a minor in Arts Management from Indiana University. Her choreographic voice is playful and rooted in the diverse dance styles that live within her body, including jazz, contemporary, social dances, and other African diasporic forms. She is deeply inspired by her home, which continues to inform the way she moves and creates. As a performing artist, she has worked with Juel D. Lane’s Ego, Bill T. Jones’s What Problem, Cameron McKinney’s Beclouded, Baba Stafford Berry Jr.’s Labor. Expanding her reach, Kiki debuted The Shuffle in Salvador, Brazil, a piece inspired by her favorite line dances. Kiki’s work extends to onscreen talent in Couples Court with the Cutlers, Personal Injury Court, DC’s Stargirl, Wolf Pack, and P-Valley. In 2021, Kierra directed her first film, My Black Voice, which was selected for the Mobile Dance Film Festival at 92nd Street Y in New York City. Currently, Kierra serves as the Dance Team Coach for the Columbus Wizards professional basketball team and is performing with Brother(hood) Dance!
