The Global Studies Seminar presents “The Rise and Fall of International Order” by Denison University’s Visiting Assistant Professor of Data for Political Research Miles D. Williams (Doctor of Philosophy).
His research covers issues in international cooperation, conflict, political economy, and research methods. His teaching includes topics like data visualization, data modeling and research design, and international relations. He writes a weekly newsletter on Substack about data and international relations called Foreign Figures.
What can a computer simulation teach a world in doubt about US leadership of the Liberal International Order? A great deal, and the lesson is not an optimistic one.
