Tower Duo presents “flora y fauna” which features music broadly inspired by nature and beauty and includes the regional premiere of Denison’s own Assistant Professor of Composition, Zachery S. Meier. “from within” is inspired by sunlight filtering through the multi-colored stained glass windows of Gaudi’s La Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, Spain, and received its world premiere at OhioMTA as winner of Ohio Music Teacher’s Association Composer of the Year Award. Tower Duo is comprised of flutist Erin Helgeson Torres and saxophonist Michael Rene Torres.
