The Jazz Guitar Festival of 2023 will kick off with a performance featuring the Zakk Jones Trio with additional guest performers and Denison faculty Brett Burleson on guitar and Pete Mills on saxophone. Jones is assistant professor and area head of Jazz Studies in the Conservatory of Music at Capital University.  

The Department of Music with support from the Vail Series presents the 2023 Jazz Guitar Festival featuring the Zakk Jones Trio on Thursday, Oct. 19, Pasquale Grasso on Friday, Oct. 20, and the Tony Monaco/Fareed Haque Trio on Saturday, Oct. 21.
