Denison’s Studio Art program welcomes Michael Stickrod presenting an artist talk.
He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Ohio State University in 2003 and an Master of Fine Arts from Yale University in 2005.
Recent exhibitions include: “We Drink to Your Health and Wish You Were Here” at Hesaid Shesaid, Chicago, IL, 2009; “Altoids Award” at New Museum, New York, NY, 2008; “MMM” at Cherry and Martin, Los Angeles, CA, 2008; “Technically Sweet” at Participant Inc./ Anthology Film Archives, New York, NY and Overgaden, Copenhagen, Denmark, 2008; “Les Amis de mes amis…” at VF Galerie, Marseille, France 2007.
Stickrod is in residence at Denison as a visiting professor from fall 2011- spring 2012 .
