Twenty-one Denison seniors and alumni submitted applications for the U.S. Student Fulbright program. In partnership with more than 140 countries worldwide, Fulbright fosters cross-cultural exchange and increased mutual understanding by sending students abroad to teach English, conduct research, or pursue graduate education.

During their grants, Fulbrighters meet, work, live with, and learn from the people of the host country, sharing daily experiences. Grants vary from country to country; while some may require knowledge of a foreign language, others do not.

This year’s applicants diligently worked on their application materials throughout the summer before interviewing with a Campus Committee Evaluation panel in early fall to gain official Denison endorsement.
