The Vail Visiting Artists program welcomes Sophia Flood for an artist’s talk. Flood is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Madison’s painting program (2012) and the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Her work has recently been exhibited at Sadie Halie Projects, Torrance Shipman Gallery and the Painting Center in New York and at Herter Gallery in Amherst, MA, and has been written about in “Two Coats of Paint,” “The Coastal Post,” and “Hyperallergic.” She lives and works in Brooklyn.
