The chorus of cooks and waiters laugh with Spartan Herald and Ambassador in the Akropolis Klub.
Myrrhine places her hand and kneels over her excited husband Kinesias on a blanket.
The Herald faces upstage, holding open his trenchcoat, flashing a horrified Ambassador and waiter.
The three cooks dramatically pose as the women’s chorus around a table in the Akropolis Klub.
Lysistrata stands with the Athenian and Spartan women in front of the club entrance in nightgowns.
Lysistrata, backed by the women with arms crossed, stands off against the Spartan constables and Ambassador.
The three cooks stare determined into the distance, holding basters. Their aprons are covered in stains.
Two waiters lean on their head waiter, looking smug. “Akropolis Klub” is stitched on their aprons.
Lysistrata stands on a platform to address the Greek women. They all look at her shocked and confused.
Kleonike kneels and bows her head as Lysistrata anoints her, placing a hand on her head. The rest of the women watch.
