“Lobby Hero” by Kenneth Lonergan is a thought-provoking play set in the lobby of a Manhattan apartment building. It tells the story of Jeff, a young security guard who finds himself entangled in a moral dilemma involving his boss, a rookie cop, and her seasoned partner. With sharp dialogue and nuanced characters, the play explores themes of justice, loyalty, and personal integrity. The interactions between the characters are both tense and darkly humorous, making ‘Lobby Hero’ a compelling narrative that raises important questions about ethics and humanity. It’s a powerful portrayal of the complexities of everyday moral choices.
