Luke Stettner was born in Alpine, NJ, in 1979. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Arizona in 2002 and his Master of Fine Arts from the School of Visual Arts in 2005. Stettner attended the Skowhegan School of Painting & Sculpture in 2010 and was a recipient of the 2013 Lower Manhattan Cultural Council Workspace residency program. He currently lives and works in Columbus, OH.

He is the co-founder and editor of the online arts publication The Highlights.

Stettner was also an Artist in Residence at Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, New York, NY in 2013.
